ww2 German helmet m42
this helmet really is a tail of two sides
very nice relic, heavy battle damage looks to have taken a bullet hit to the side not going though and some big bits of shrapnel to the back and side possibly , still a very solid helmet
very rare to get a fully complete (original liner to the helmet) in a battle damaged lid, still has good remains of paint and a decal
has already been cleaned so ready to display no loose rust
*wouldn’t benefit from anymore cleaning
